The Grande Prairie Storm are proud to announce the signing of 6’2 forward Tomis Marinkovic. The Coquitlam BC native spent last season with the Calgary Hitman, scoring 5 goals while adding 16 assists. In the 2021-2023 season, Tomis was the captain of BCEHL U18 Vancouver Cheifs. The captain racked up 21 goals and 19 assist over the 32 game season while leading the Cheifs to win BCEHL U18 league.
Gm Mark Bomersback had this to say about the addition of Tomis. “ the most exciting thing about adding Tomis is we aren’t just adding a big strong power forward with good skill but we are adding a great individual that’s going to be another key part in the dressing room. We have a great group of young men already and adding one more is a bonus. Everyone has bought in so far and things our heading in the right direction and Tomis is going to help keep moving things forward. We are excited to get him up here and in the line up.”
Fans can get their first look at Tomis along with the rest of the Storm tonight when they host the 6-2 Blackfalds Bulldogs. The Storm are currently riding a 3 game winning streak and hope to keep the streak alive in front of the great fans of GP.
