The Grande Prairie Storm are proud to announce the recent signing of Justin Peers from the Calgary Northstars Midget AAA of the AMHL. Justin is a 5'8″ 170lbs 17 year old (1996) RW from Calgary,AB. He recently played 2 AJHL games as an “AP” for the Storm and recorded an assist and 2 PIMS. The Storm are excited to add a player like Justin to their roster. Head Coach Matt Hughes said “after the way Justin played in the 2 games in the Calgary road trip I felt that he was ready to make the jump to Jr. A and could help our team right now”. Justin will see his first official action as a Storm this weekend as the Storm travel to Fort McMurray to battle the Oil Barons.
