Storm finalize futures with the Canucks
The Grande Prairie Storm announce that 19 year old forward Ben Assad has been sent to the Calgary Canucks to complete the future considerations portion of the Nov. 2nd trade between the two teams.

From day #1 he has been a professional and he was the exact same way on his final day with the Storm. There is a saying that you have to give up something good to get something good and this was the case in this trade. The trade will benefit both teams and we wish Ben the best with the Canucks.”
