TRADE: Storm Make Two More Moves

GRANDE PRAIRIE, AB:

January 11, 2019

Right at the deadline yesterday, the Storm made two more moves to solidify their roster for the rest of the year.

Nolan Spadafore ('99) – a defenceman from Cochrane, AB, was dealt to the Olds Grizzlys in exchange for future considerations. We wish Nolan all the best in his next hockey chapter.

The Storm also announced their acquisition of Alexis Girard ('99) from the Quebec Ramparts of the QMJHL and Longueil College-Francais of the Quebec Jr. A league for future considerations. Girard amassed 10 points in 19 games in the Qebec Jr. A circuit, as well as 28 points in 114 games in the Quebec Major Junior circuit. Both Girard and newly acquired defenceman Sutton are expected to make their debuts this weekend. You can catch the Storm and the new players this Wednesday, puck drops at 7:30 against the Lloydminster Bobcats.
